The Elbow-MuleTM is designed to remove the most stubborn seized elbows though the application of screw force without the dangerous use of impact force. The tool is operated using any standard shotgun stick.
The Elbow-MuleTM incorporates inboard and outboard fiberglass legs manufactured from electrical grade fiberglass. These legs compress tightly around the body of the seized elbow during the extraction process creating a steady, consistent, controlled removal operation.
The outboard legs have a number of pre-positioned holes that permit the operator to successfully utilize the tool on a wide variety of front plate configurations.
A convenient storage bag is shipped with both the 15/27 kV and the 35 kV Elbow-MuleTM tools.
