Made in the USA This Hi-Vis Long Sleeve T-Shirt combines the benefits received from both an FR Arc Rated T-Shirt, and an FR Arc Rated Safety Vest, into one garment.

The FR hi-vis fabric is engineered with both flame and arc resistance, which meets the requirements of ANSI 107- 2010 and NFPA 70E - 2009 standards.

With this new alternative, the wearer can now satisfy their requirements for both HRC 2 and ANSI class 2 or 3 with one product, replacing the FR Vest & FR Shirt combo.

Made from Polartec® Power Dry® FR fabric, the Power Dry® Hi-Viz Shirt offers real flame resistance combined with excellent breathability and next-to-skin comfort that keeps your skin dry when you sweat. Designed to protect workers from fire and arc flash hazards in the fire service, utility and petrochemical industries, the Power Dry® Hi-Viz Shirt is available in ANSI certified yellow and also features 3M segmented silver reflective which still allows the fabric to stretch for perfect fit and increases visibility. Arc Rating: 8.1 ATPV / HRC 2

Every second thinking about your clothes is a second not given to the task at hand. That’s why Polartec® FR protection starts with unequaled next-to-skin comfort. Several technologies work together to make this possible. Most impressive is our Polartec® Power Dry® FR patented bi-component construction. This technology dramatically improves comfort by transporting moisture away from the skin and pulling it to the outer surface where it can dry quickly.

Compared to other fabrics, Polartec® Power Dry® FR absorbs moisture faster and spreads moisture quicker. Bottom line: you stay drier. This base layer is patent-approved. And field-tested to keep you both safe and comfortable.

The FR properties of ReliantTM fabrics allow for a soft-to-the-touch shirt that wicks moisture away from your skin, keeping the wearer cool and comfortable all day.

Designed with our new sleek segmented striping. The striping conforms to the garment, giving the wearer less restriction in a working environment.

Determine the Correct Protection Level, To evaluate Fire Retardant clothing materials in order to measure the heat transferred through the fabric, two values are calculated: Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV)...the minimum energy causing the predicted onset of second-degree burns and Heat Attenuation Factor (HAF)...the percentage of total energy of the arc that the fabric prevents from passing through, OSHA requires that each employer must assess the potential hazards in the work environment and determine the appropriate clothing materials using ASTM PS57-97. Always do a hazard assessment. You will need to know electrical system voltage, fault current available, number of phases, Arc time duration, estimated Arc gap, minimum distance from the Arc, and Arc configuration.
